Bastard

Haunted by nightmares and fragmented memories, a woman lives in isolation, surrounded by dolls. In her room, she stages an imaginary performance of a seemingly happy family. But as the game unfolds, the sounds of her parents’ arguments and a child’s cries seep into the room, revealing the performance as a reenactment of her traumatic childhood. Trapped between play and memory, she is forced to confront the violence that has shaped her life.
