Synopsis
The documentary “51 Seconds” portrays the life of Amin Mohammadi, an Afghan equestrian champion. After the war began in his homeland, he migrated to Iran with his family, where he rose to prominence as a celebrated horse rider. Amin dreamed of one day competing under the Afghan flag on the international stage. However, he never returned to his country, as he wanted to secure better opportunities for his two daughters, knowing that Afghanistan offered them little chance for education and progress.
