The Road Side

A young woman who has run away from her family home stops at a roadside diner, where she strikes up a conversation with the elderly owner. During their exchange, she learns that he once drove his own daughter out of the house. As their conversation unfolds, the old man is left alone to confront a painful question: whether he was right to cast his daughter away.
