Privacy policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Persian Film Awards (“we”, “us”) collects through persianfilmawards.com, why, and the choices you have. We are based in Canada and follow Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, password, country, city and an optional photo); film submissions and the credits, links and documents you add; profile claims and the verification documents you upload; ticket, pass and sponsor orders; messages you send us; and basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security and analytics.
If you sign in with Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Apple or Amazon, we receive your name and email address from that service. We do not receive your password and we never post on your behalf.
How we use it
To run the festival: reviewing films, publishing the program and results, issuing tickets, answering messages, verifying claimed profiles, processing sponsor payments and keeping the site secure. With your agreement we may email you about the festival; every email has an unsubscribe link.
What is public
Film titles, credits, synopses, awards and the public part of a crew profile are shown on the site. Your email address, uploaded documents and payment details are never shown publicly.
Your choices
You can see, correct or delete your account information, withdraw consent, or ask us to remove a profile or film listing by writing to us through the Help & support page. We keep records as long as needed for the festival and our legal duties.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new date. Last updated: October 2026.
